Miss Maudy's will always stand for good,healthful, foods produced "the way the used to be." We believe in the stewardship and responsibility that God has given man over the earth, plants and beasts (to use and not abuse). We desire a long and healthy relationship with our customers and an opportunity to meet their ever-changing needs. We currently offer 100's of products that are produced naturally and many are certified organic or chemical-free. These products range from sugar, cereals, whole and milled grains, pastas, fruit, snack mixes and more. We also serve made to order sandwiches such as Miss Maudy's Cheesesteak, Rueben Melt, and Paninis. Soup and salads are also offered. We have Amish meats and cheeses by the pound from our deli case. Ice cream made on the premises are also offered and can be enjoyed on our newly constructed patio. | Company history Miss Maudy's opened in Sweetwater, TN in December of 2006. Many ask who Miss Maudy is and we have to confess that there really is no Miss Maudy. Jay and Joni Jinks thought Sweetwater could use a bulk food store in November of 2005 and they presented their idea to Mike & Linda Moroz. When we decided to open the store the ladies could not settle on a name that encompassed all facets of the store,sandwiches, soup,salads, ice cream and bulk foods. Well, Mike remembered that Jay called Joni, Maudy as pet name because her grandmother and Jay's grandmother both had the name of Maude. He suggested the name "Maudy's" and Joni thought it appropriate to name it "Miss Maudy's" as many ladies are referred to as "Miss Linda" or "Miss Joni', and so Miss Maudy's was born. | Customer testimonials Many customers say they love the smell of the store when they first walk in. Others have told us that the Roast Beef Panini is the best sandwich they have ever had and others come in to try something new and keep ordering the Southwest Chicken Panini.
